IWPRS Day 2009
The first ever International 'Wear Your Puppy Raising Shirt' Day, held on February 19, 2009 was a big success.
So far 20 people (along with nearly as many dogs) have confirmed their participation in the event. Additionally, there were over 50 confirmed attendees on the IWYPRS Day event page on facebook. These puppy raisers, dog guide users, and friends came from more than 10 different provinces and states - a truly international event!
Participants proudly represented many different guide and service dog schools across North America. They wore their shirts at home, at school, at work, and at play. Between the dresser drawer and the laundry bin, our shirts rode airplanes, wrote exams, watched plays, and much more.
